Pacific Validators run servers which validate cryptocurrency for blockchain companies and consumers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Race Computer Services?
Race was hired to perform Initial coding set up of our dedicated servers. They also developed design architecture for proper structure for the project to be successful.
Race also provides ongoing support to maintain our servers at full working capacity. They run upgrades and provide support for successful operation of the node. They are very responsive and are equally dedicated to the project’s success, as we are.
What were your goals for this project?
Get our validator node configured, coded, and successfully launched to run validation of the blockchain.
How did you select Race Computer Services?
Race was selected from internet search results. Their services (Ubuntu/Linux) proficiency, were a must have for us, and we were really excited/fortunate to find Race.
Describe the project in detail.
Race has met with us countless times (by phone/message/email) to discuss upcoming project needs and steps to solution. The team is knowledgeable, and always reliable. Working in this industry brings a lot of deadlines and critical access points. Race has been there along the way to meet and exceed expectations, keeping us on track to meet our business goals.
What was the team composition?
We spoke with Richard initially and described our project. Due to our needs, Richard linked us up with his engineer Sean. From that point forward, we have not ceased communicating with both of them.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Because of Race’s assistance, our project has continued to be successful. We have collaborated and learned from each other, helping us to better our business and offerings. Our severs have not failed under their care and our goals are consistently met, even when we throw a change at the team last minute.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Pacific Validators and Race developed a very successful working relationship. The team is great at being available and responsive. They understand that in our industry, quickness is everything. Quick response time can mean the difference between a business afloat and one who crashes. We can’t be more happy with working with Race.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The Race team really impressed me with their knowledge as well as willingness to talk things through and put in the time to get bug projects done. This team seemingly never sleeps because we did not have one moment where we felt “left out in the cold” due to any difficulty reaching them. And, it doesn’t hurt that they are really nice people who are easy to talk to.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The only thing we would hope to see one day is Race accepting cryptocurrency as payment. One day!
