ClaimDesign With Vision
Quarterre is a dynamic London design studio. Founded by Daniele Ceccomori, Clive Hartley, Nick Mannion, and Jason Povlotsky, the four Quarterre designers hail from rich multi-disciplinary backgrounds including automotive design and have worked for many prestigious firms. With this wealth of experience, the designers are attuned to working fluently across disciplines and a range of materials with a meticulous eye. Exploiting their diverse backgrounds, the designers also draw on a palette dripping with wide-ranging personal influences and fascinations. From the heritage and luxury of bespoke British tailoring to the playfulness of street art. From the Science Fiction films of Ridley Scott to Italian product design from the 60s and 70s. This eclectic mix is apparent throughout Quarterre’s work, the binding focus being the designer’s emphasis on provenance. Craftsmanship lies at the heart of their work; employing traditional values in seeking solutions to a modern and urban lifestyle. Applying this distinctive approach with their technical expertise and knowledge of materials to bike storage, Furniture For Bikes addresses the challenges of owning a bike in an urban environment. Designed to support everyday life on two wheels, these premium pieces unite cycling culture with interior design. This sculptural collection combines stylish form with function and simplicity with structural elegance, acting as an impressive foil for a much-valued bike within the home or workplace.
