I’m the co-founder of an IT services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qoob.dev?

We needed software development support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qoob.dev provides us with custom software development support. We started the engagement by providing them with documentation of the system they will be supporting, which includes information on how it’s set up, its database structure, and the naming convention inside the database, so they know which objects to query. The solution is a data platform that helps our client monitor their business performance better and provide them with analytical solutions using the data in the system. 

The project was divided into multiple phases: data acquisition, data processing, and then the preparation of data for visualization and consumption. Qoob.dev has helped us build the interface and program how the data is processed internally in order to provide a meaningful outcome in the dashboard analytics for the client. The technologies we use are AWS, Python, and MySQL.

I’ve work with Qoob.dev’s two co-founders and a data engineer.

I knew one of their co-founders from my previous work experience. I knew he was an expert in this domain.

We’ve spent over $50,000 on this project so far.

We started working together in July 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

Qoob.dev is an expert in this domain, and it’s reflected in their high-quality work.

How did Qoob.dev perform from a project management standpoint?

Qoob.dev has performed well in terms of project management. They actively participate in our discussions and are always on time in terms of delivery. They’re also incredibly organized — everything is well-planned, and we have a Kanban board with user stories.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Qoob.dev has excellent data engineering expertise. We’re also impressed with their proactive approach to design and documentation and their commitment to the project and the deliverables.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We were expecting a higher level of architecture documentation initially. They’ve since improved on this aspect.

We’ve had several projects with Qoob.dev. This one in particular is a development project for a pharmaceutical company in Germany. They work in AWS and Snowflake.

We’ve spent about $20,000 on this last project.

We started working with them in July 2021, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

We’ve received positive feedback from our clients. Qoob.dev’s team is highly qualified and experienced, so they’re doing an excellent job.

How did Qoob.dev perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet all deadlines. Also, their communication skills are excellent. We’re in constant contact, and they update us of any trouble. They always let us know how the project is going and support us. We communicate using email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very professional and hands-on with their work. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, I can’t think of anything at the moment. They’re great at their job.

Brief them and get them aligned on what they need to do. They’ll live up to whatever they promise; you won’t be disappointed.

I'm the Director of Crayon's Data & AI Center of Excellence in Vienna. We work with customers across industries to deliver highly impactful solutions and platforms using data and AI.

For what projects/services did your company hire Qoob.dev?

We needed a highly experienced and talented Data Engineer to complement our project team on the customer side for a unique customer engagement.

The project involved an assessment phase and an implementation phase for a data and MLOps platform.

We first shared the requirements of the required resource and based on that we were provided with a suitable candidate.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The customer has now a unified way to collect large volumes of data from various sources and formats and perform Machine Learning experiments.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The onboarding was minimal, the candidate could contribute immediately and the collaboration within the team as well as with the customer was extremely professional and friendly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their deep technical expertise and high level of professionalism working with customers were outstanding!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to mind at this point.
