What challenges were you trying to address with QClay AI?

We recently had a couple of clients asking us to implement custom software development in data science, so we hired QClay AI to help us with that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

QClay AI has helped us develop an AI-based engine for data science from scratch. Initially, their manager provided us with an initial estimate and timeline for the project. After a few discussions with their developers, they showed us a vision for the project and gave us many tips on the best solutions and technologies for the product.

After the onboarding process, we had some kick-off meetings with engineers from both sides. Then, QClay AI collaborated with our team to develop a prototype of the AI-based engine. As for its main features, we were looking for an AI product that could help us with market trends and predictions. We also requested an investment portfolio optimizer, an optimization algorithm that could identify potential price changes in the cryptocurrency market.

According to our experience in AI system development, the product developed by QClay AI has been able to provide us with accurate predictions of cryptocurrency prices. As a result, our clients have been able to make better-informed decisions — we’ve received great feedback from users.

Additionally, this system helps us save a lot of time we would otherwise spend analyzing large data sets. The product has also helped us a lot in identifying market trends, so overall, QClay AI has totally met our expectations.

How did QClay AI perform from a project management standpoint?

QClay AI has met all our budget requirements and deadlines, and they’ve done a great job managing the project. We use Asana as our main project management tool, which is very helpful. Moreover, we communicate via email and Zoom.

QClay AI’s ability to deliver earlier than expected is impressive. They’re very well-organized, and they know what to do and how to do it.

There’s nothing QClay AI could improve on — everything is good and professionally done.

During the first two weeks, we had daily meetings, and the QClay AI team was able to comprehend our approach and prepare the entire project scope with financial and time estimates. Shortly after, we put their engineers alongside our in-house data scientists, trusting them to lead the project due to their previous experience. 

Their exceptionally experienced data scientists were able to adapt their infrastructure, taking our requirements into account and working them into the architecture they had created. Their efforts ended up in us completing the project much quicker, from an estimated 8 months to a little more than 6. 

Moreover, they were always proactive, supplying us with the knowledge of state-of-the-art NLP models like BERT, RoBERTa. The result was great software capable of automatically extracting, categorizing, and processing customer reviews. It enabled our client to get extensive reports and manage their enormous base of thousands of products by advertising more popular products and removing or reducing the number of offers gaining bad reviews. 

Also, it can automatically generate vast reports containing data gathered on multiple products and examine their performance over a set period.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within the first month or so, we overcame our pre-existing technical issues, which enabled us to later implement the most recent technological solutions and extend our project’s scope, which ended up in our client providing us with a similar project shortly after.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

In my opinion, it was the most effective and tailored management style I had ever had a pleasure to experience. QClay AI engineers were always available, and the communication was done exceptionally fast. At all times, I knew exactly what was being worked on. 

Our in-house engineers were impressed by their ability to perform that efficiently on the project with a pre-existing team, all on a remote basis. QClay AI proved to be a fantastic partner, transparent about its progress, providing us with the existing architecture and expertise we needed. In the end, the crucial factor that enabled us to deliver was QClay AI.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is truly impressive how fast they adapted their methodology, architecture, and infrastructure for our exact needs. Working in sprints pushed the progress forward at an extreme pace, and at the same time, they found the time to share their knowledge and experience with us. The communication was on point, and their additional input was always there.

Are there any areas for improvement or something QClay AI could have done differently?

No, I don’t think there is. I enjoyed every aspect of our cooperation.
