By the end of 4 months of work, the code become much more readable and scalable, and due to a lot of optimizations we saw approximately 3 times improvement in speed of execution

We had daily meeting for communicating and staying on track with whole team, and also there would be additional meetings in case of any need, communicating through our internal system. And the deadlines were usually met even ahead of time.

Sometimes needed more communication from developer side, but he was almost autonomous unit and performed a lot based on his architectural experience

Pynest managed the whole scope of our CMS development:

Backend optimization: Migrated to a newer version of CMS with performance improvements through horizontal scaling, load balancing, Redis caching, and database refactoring with enhanced indexing.

Content management: Built a multi-channel publishing system for posting to website, mobile app, and Web3 platforms at the same time, with scheduled and time-zone-aware automated posting.

Integrations: Added third-party marketing platforms, social bots, and Web3 wallet authentication.

Documentation & support: Provided complete system architecture and API documentation, deployment instructions, user guides, and training sessions.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

On the performance side, we significantly cut down page load times and database performance, and our platform became extremely responsive and stable.

Our content repository added hundreds of new pages with excellent performance. We also uploaded and processed more images and the CDN capabilities improved global load times around the world for our user base.

They managed the project in a way that we could have enough control but without us having to micromanage the entire process. They signaled us with progress against the schedule, our budget, assumed risks, and future milestones. Most impressive to us was the way they managed the scope changes dynamically. When we requested a change that wasn’t in the specs, it took them less than 24 hours to provide a change request that included tech specs, cost, risks, and impact on the timeline.

They were extremely proactive and even anticipated our needs at some points. Always with a solution ready. They challenged our assumptions when they needed to and gave advice based on their experience, like when they suggested we rate limit our core services to prevent abuse. That was something we did not foresee from the start, but it was priceless in protecting against traffic spikes.

We could see the strong expertise they had in building scalable, performance-intensive CMS platforms specifically for content-heavy businesses. It showed in how well they approached designing the architecture: they didn't just go for whatever we asked for: they built based on the patterns that worked for them before and they delivered a solution that was exceptional performance-wise and also maintainable. They provided strategic insights about content monetization based on industry trends and suggested features we wouldn’t even consider otherwise.

While their post-launch support was excellent and very responsive, having a more detailed plan for transitioning to the new system with documented service level agreements for the support period would have been nice. It would give us a better idea of the response and escalation procedures.

Pynest created a complete platform for online learning delivery.

Key features included:

- Learner profile: The team created a seamless flow where users could create profiles and easily access the platform, and have their own protected space within our LMS.

- Сontent library: Pynest developed a backend that allowed us to easily manage course materials that we add to our lessons which included text, graphics, audio, and video. They designed the storage for smooth playback and reliable access to the video library.

- Knowledge assessment: Their team created a great toolkit that we could use to create tests based on the course material. The process was partially automated (the details were pulled from the contents of the lessons) and felt natural.

Their team also worked on some gamification features. The learning modules included mini-game challenges with animated scenes where students compete for the best scores.

Pynest successfully delivered a fully functional LMS that met all our requirements. In addition, here are some successes we can share:

We reached our starter's user adoption metrics within the first 3 months after we launched the platform. Every month we onboarded at least 200 new learners.

Video content streams without buffering issues, even during peak usage hours.

Our users spend an average of 45 minutes per session engaging with course materials and tests.

Pynest delivered a mobile-responsive design, so we have more than half our users accessing courses from their phones and tablets.

Project management was excellent. When we approached them, we had a complicated vision of how to design the solution. Rather than jumping straight into full development, Pynest built a prototype first to validate whether our approach would work from both a technical and user experience perspective.
