Our Story

iMiTYWORKS is a 100% women-owned annual report & impact report design studio in Jakarta, founded in 2021. We design reports, toolkits & data visualization for foundations, NGOs & corporations. Trusted by Ford Foundation, Women's World Banking, BNI & LOTTE Mart.

Our thesis: a report is only useful if readers can find what they need — so we build interactive PDFs like websites, with navigation inside. Bilingual (EN/ID), fully remote, founder-led on every project.

For a toolkit, that means field teams can reach any framework in seconds instead of scrolling — the reason our water sanitation project toolkit was built with navigation on every page. For an annual or impact report, it's whether the people it was made for actually read it: funders, boards, regulators. Operationally we measure the unglamorous things too. Files delivered print-ready and error-free, timelines built around your filing or launch date and kept. And our favorite metric is the simplest: clients who come back for the next reporting cycle.

Every project is led personally by one of our three co-founders — you work with the designer, not an account layer. We start with a short intake call to understand who the document is for and how they'll use it, then agree on structure before any visual design begins (in reports, structure is half the design). From there: staged reviews at draft design, and final, with consolidated feedback rounds so revisions stay fast. We work fully remotely and always have — our foundation clients in the US send feedback at the end of their day and wake up to revisions.

One named point of contact — the founder leading your project — and a reply within one business day, usually faster. We communicate wherever you already work: email, WhatsApp, or your project tool. Every review round comes with a short written summary of what changed and what we need from you next, so nobody has to reconstruct decisions from chat history. And we're honest early: if a timeline is at risk or content is arriving too slowly to hit your filing date, you'll hear it from us first, with options — not at the deadline.

Annual reports, impact reports, and sustainability reports for foundations, NGOs, and corporations — especially publications heavy with data that deserves better visualization. We're particularly keen on technical toolkits and guideline documents that teams struggle to actually use: turning them into interactive PDFs with built-in navigation is our specialty. Bilingual (English/Bahasa Indonesia) publications are standard practice for us.
