The incident involved unauthorized access to internal systems, with attackers attempting to steal sensitive data. They quickly identified the breach and contained the threat. Their team worked seamlessly with ours, ensuring the situation was resolved before it escalated into a full-scale data breach.

The attack hit late at night, and by morning, our client’s entire system was compromised. Provendata jumped in quickly with a containment strategy to stop the spread and secure any unaffected data. From there, they: Conducted forensic analysis to assess whether data had been stolen AND helped us restore systems and recover encrypted data without engaging with the attackers.

Key deliverables involved the installation of robust firewalls, continuous monitoring systems, and detailed security reports to safeguard EPAM’s systems and data.
The attack had completely locked us out, with files across multiple servers encrypted. Proven Data started with an assessment to determine the scope of the infection. From there, they worked on identifying the ransomware strain, isolating the affected systems, and initiating a recovery process without risking further data loss.

Additionally, system uptime and overall data protection were enhanced, ensuring a more secure digital environment for the company and Recovered nearly all of our critical data without paying the ransom. System downtime was minimized, and we were back up and running faster than expected and
