So I was launching my detailing business and honestly had no idea what I was doing with the website stuff. I knew I needed one because people want to see something professional before they book you, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money or wait months like some of my buddies did with other designers.

I found Alex through a referral and reached out just to see what he could do. From the first conversation he was really easy to talk to and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing what I wanted. I had some rough ideas but he helped me figure out the branding and what would actually work for a detailing business.

The booking system was probably the best part. Before the site went live I was literally spending hours every week going back and forth with people on Instagram trying to coordinate times. It was exhausting. Now people just book their own slots and it's done. That alone was worth it.

He also built out the SEO stuff which I didn't really understand at first but basically it's helping me show up on Google when people search for mobile detailers in Raleigh. I'm already getting some organic traffic which is cool because I didn't have the budget to pay for ads or anything like that.

The whole process took maybe 3 weeks? Which was way faster than I expected. He kept me updated the whole time and whenever I wanted to change something he was cool about it. No attitude or anything like you sometimes get with freelancers.

Now I have a website I actually feel good about sharing. Before I was kind of embarrassed because I didn't have anything to show people and it felt unprofessional. Now when someone asks about my services I can just send them the link and they see a real business not just an Instagram page.

I'm already planning to work with him again as things grow. We talked about adding a gallery section for before and after photos and maybe doing some blog stuff later to help with rankings. It's nice having someone you can go back to who already knows your business.

If you're starting a service business definitely reach out to Alex. He's straightforward, doesn't try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff you don't need, and he actually delivers. Would 100% recommend.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within the first two weeks I had 170 new hits on my website and 4 new bookings. The best thing is having clients say they liked my website. As a business owner I appreciate having a good service but then also knowing my website was a good service makes me more confident in my own business. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

He always delivered on time and communicated details of what he did. Especially with SEO, that all is very complicated to me, but I apprecaited him taking the time to explain what he did to help omptimize my site and not leaving me in the dark, even though its still too technical for me.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Alex really cares about your site like its his own. Proudly Sites doesn't just design the site; they also commit to learning the industry. Which he already seems to now a lot about service businesses so that helped. Even after we paid he had a couple ideas to integrate into the site and did that at no extra cost.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Proudly Sites could have done differently?

It's ahrd to say. Maybe just a couple times I noticed a detail that was missing, like a pricing point that wasn't updated correctly. But he always quick to correct.
