We hired Prosperity to handle a number of recruiting projects for us.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Prosperity was recommended to us by one of our employees.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After a nice exchange of emails, we had an hour long call with Gary and Gemma, in which we reviewed our company, our goals and what we hoped to achieve - we are in a rapid growth stage and were looking for Prosperity's help to fill a number of roles. We were sent over a contract, which we reviewed and immediately signed.

Two, Gary and Gemma.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

well, we worked through the first job spec and they updated it and then for a senior level role, one we are really counting on, they presented one candidate who had less than three years experience. The candidate's portfolio was full of work from OTHER people which they hadn't seem to notice and when we pointed this out, and made a couple of positive constructive comments, well...

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They quit after sending one candidate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was shocked by Gary's lack of professionalism. His associate Gemma was quite complimentary of us and our opportunity, but Gary's behavior was odd and concerning - he then totally misrepresented an email sent to Gemma by one of our employees, claimed he was too busy to work with us and that the junior person (24 months ago working in the food industry) was about to be hired by a major global player which to be honest we are skeptical about but if so, good for her.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

well Gary claimed they were too busy to work with us, as well as totally misrepresenting our employee's email which wasn't even sent to him. Honestly they wasted a bunch of our time, they only had one candidate who was very junior. It struck everyone on our side that they were really just pretenders and can't deliver on any degree of higher level. We also and I am happy to provide saved the emails and made it clear to Gary that they took the assignments, provided one person and then quit.
