We want to keep this process because it works really well for us. With Prometeo, we expanded the process by integrating very well and contributing their expertise in the validation of the candidate's soft skills.
They sent us forms and helped us complete the search requirements. With the defined requirements, they began the search and within a few days we already had three interesting candidates. We have already hired one of them.

Prometeo Talent helped us with hiring and exploring the South American market. They managed the talent selection process and set up interviews between the candidates and our internal team. They had their own default hiring process, but we worked with them to customize it based on our needs.
We started with job descriptions, phone screenings, and then a behavioral interview. After that, it was two technical interviews. The process included background checks, reference checking, and if everything went well, we ended up offering a contract. For example, we needed to find candidates for a vacant design position. We looked for self-reliant individuals, and we were able to vet out the candidates and find the right one.

The fact to let them in charge of our recruitment processes help us to focus our time on other activities. They are very professional and they have been especially helpful at this stage of growth. We had hired more than 50% of our team in the last 6 months, working with Prometeo.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have found in Prometeo a part of our team. The communication and workflow are very good, we have weekly meetings but we also stay in touch the rest of the days. We also have a slack channel and access to their ATS.
What did you find most impressive about this vendor?
The fact they provide tailored- solutions and integrate to our team to think together and find new ways to attract the talent.

What were your goals for this project?
SOUTHWORKS is expanding and growing rapidly, and with more projects, we were looking for a lot of talent in various countries to double the number of developers in our team.

How did you select Prometeo?
One of our hiring targets was Uruguay, and we did a research about HR Consultancy companies there and the former CEO of a Software Factory in this country referred Prometeo to us as the best option to hire quality candidates in less time.
Describe the project in detail.
They are very flexible and adapted the process to our current hiring process, uploading the information on our own Application Tracking System.
One of the challenges was to engage the candidates with the company they don´t know, because we didn´t have employeess in those countries, and people didn´t know too much about SOUTHWORKS but during the first week, Lorena had an interview with one of our founders, and they posted on youtube and spotify as a podcast, to increase our employer branding and help the candidates to know more about us.
We have been working with them since then, and we have seen a continusly improvement, we receive more and more candidates every day with a good ratio of candidates who aproves the technical challenge. They are currently providing us talent from all LATAM and they had found some talented developers from Europe in the past.
What was the team composition?
They have a marketing and social media team, that produces the podcast and youtube videos, they also have a team of recruiters. We have direct communication with Lorena, the CEO and we have a dedicated Recruitment Team Lead that help us to organize all the information and communicate with the recruiters and candidates.

We have successfully hired more than 20 developers in few months in Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain, Poland, Bolivia, Etc.

There is also a very good flow of communication, we are always in touch to solve some questions of candidates and we had regular meetings to adjust the searches.

One of our goals is finding quality candidates to fill open positions in a reasonable timeframe. Another goal is to help convey, challenge, communicate, and fine-tune the culture and values that we uphold.

How did you select this vendor?
We looked at different HR firms. Also, we tried other providers. Compared to other options, the cost is average. However, the quality and variety of services offered are unique. We value the flexibility, quality of candidates, and the focus on continuous improvement, which presumes a perfect culture match between both companies.
Describe the engagement in detail.
The HR Consultancy service is tailored to the current company needs. E.g., They can help you by facilitating discussion among your executives to establish the company values. Or they can help you discover how to prevent and resolve concerns among the company personnel. The HR Consultancy services and Recruitment services don't work in silos. Here is where we find added value. The insights gathered from HR Consultancy services are brought to Recruitment services, enabling them to look for candidates who qualify for the given position and match with the culture and values we hold. After defining a job description, they will start gathering candidates adjusting the effort depending on necessity. Then we start receiving prescreened resumes with a detailed report of a preliminary phone interview. They will also collect recruiting metrics and provide you with key insight in order to improve the overall recruitment process.
What was the team composition?
We have direct contact with a Senior Consultant which acts also as an Account Manager. While there are open positions we keep our communication channels open with the recruitment team.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
From a recruitment standpoint, before starting to work with Prometeo, we used to have a lot of non-valuable interviews. There were many cases in which we examined our recruitment process because the time invested in interviews was not efficient. Once we started working with them, the process evolved, and the rate of candidates that met our requirements boosted. In cases where we needed to fill many positions at once, they were able to scale their efforts. Once we agreed to hire the applicant, the psychological profile helped us understand how the candidate will fit within the team and the organization.
The HR Consultancy services helped us shape the vision we had for this company. Also, they mentored us on management, communication, and soft skills. They were also able to accompany our day-to-day continuous improvement model, always providing their perspective, making insightful questions, challenging our ideas, and being part of our company.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflow and engagement are incredibly effective. We don't have a settled recurrent meeting in order to review the quality of services. In fact, they proactively ask questions that might open new considerations as you work with them. They manage expectations very well. They log and scrutinize the entire recruitment process, allowing them to foresee whether they will meet expectations or not.

The quality of candidates has been excellent. They adapt very well to the processes tailored to our needs. They are versatile and always looking to add more value.

There are always areas for improvement in any organization. Thankfully all of the feedback we once had was received with gratitude and addressed.
