Pro-Dev is a Wellington-based product design and manufacturing consultancy founded in 2015. We take physical products from idea to market: industrial design, mechanical engineering, prototyping, packaging, compliance, IP strategy and full production.
What makes us different is that we manufacture what we design. Pro-Dev runs its own supply chain in China and New Zealand, with on-the-ground staff, direct factory relationships, quality control and door to door logistics. Your product gets designed to be manufactured from day one, and the same team stays with it through production and beyond.
The team brings more than 80 years of combined experience across design, engineering and manufacturing. Pro-Dev is an IRD-approved R&D provider and a member of Plastics NZ. We sign an NDA before discussing any project, and clients own their IP.
We work with inventors, startups and established companies in New Zealand, Australia and the USA.
