Jody Pritchard and Kristin Peck founded PritchardPeck Lighting in 2011, intent on building a team of talented professionals who seek to elevate the practice and deliver a fresh and accessible perspective on lighting design. A creative approach to problem solving is combined with a strong aptitude for technology. This is a team with the curiosity to push the boundaries, and the experience to deliver something both practical and beautiful. We Listen. We Create. We Deliver. We don’t design in a bubble. The goals for each space drive our work. We form a strong partnership with the design team, and we listen. Our approach is fluid and collaborative. In lighting design, there is no formula. Beautiful lighting doesn’t just happen. We call on years of experience, deep subject matter expertise and unwavering attention to detail to do unique, thoughtful work on each project. We balance form and function to create a design that is both stunning and practical. Just like you, we work in the real world—a world with constraints: budgets, timelines, energy codes. Rather than backing away from these challenges, we use them to our advantage. Small budgets become an opportunity to simplify. LEED points become a source of pride. We do some of our best work in the land of limited resources. With each project, we tailor our engagement to suit the needs of the client. We provide a package of services and deliverables that will clearly communicate the design intent and illustrate the actual implementation of that design. We don’t throw our design over the wall and hope for the best. We are there throughout the build phase to answer questions, solve problems and react to the realities of construction.
