Prime Baths of New Mexico

Prime Baths of New Mexico was started by two local New Mexicans who have a history working in the big box home improvement stores and the bigger name home improvement sector, like Jacuzzi and Dreamstyle. This experience gave them a bird’s eye view into the industry and they decided there were several areas that could be greatly improved upon. They partnered up and set out to make that change.

The first thing they wanted to change was the big showroom. Watching people in these big showrooms showed them that in order to have that kind of store, you have to increase your prices to cover the cost of all that extra square feet. Their solution? Have a more conservative office and supply house, and do in-home presentations. In-home presentations have a lot of advantages besides not having to carry extra overhead fees for the showroom.

Some benefits to in-home presentations are:

• The consumer doesn’t have to deal with high pressure sales
• It’s a more intimate setting so you can really go into detail about your project
• For people who may have mobility issues, you can stay in the comfort and safety of your home while receiving the best possible service
• Location, location, location! If you live outside the Albuquerque area it may be harder to schedule a day to come into town to compare services. We come to you, statewide.

Another reason Prime Bath of New Mexico wanted to make some changes to the industry was price versus quality. If you have a big warehouse, you have to cut quality to keep a lower price point for many home owners. By not having a huge showroom to support, Prime Baths of New Mexico can use top of the line, quality materials, while staying within a reasonable remodeling budget for the homeowner.

We’re honest, and it shows. We ask that everyone in the family be there because we know that while only one or two people may be paying for the remodel, the household has to use the facilities.
