Scope of Work
Pressiqa (via Alpha Linkers) engaged me for a paid PR placement: inclusion in a “Top 10 [category] to Follow in 2025” article to be published on MSN. The engagement originated from a LinkedIn outreach and was formalized with a short contract and a PayPal invoice for $400 on April 9, 2025.

Enduring placement: Not achieved. The MSN link was live only a few days, then became inaccessible.
Backlink durability: Not achieved. No permanent, high-authority backlink remained.
Traffic or leads: None attributable after the takedown.
Financial resolution: $400 refunded on Aug 12, 2025 via PayPal after a “service not as described” decision.
Reputational and operational impact
Credibility hit: I had shared the MSN link across proposals, my media kit, and social posts. When it disappeared, those links broke and I appeared unreliable to clients and event planners.
Remediation effort: Time spent removing posts, updating assets, and clarifying with contacts. No compensating value was delivered to offset these costs.

They moved fast on intake. Contract, payment link, and a short feature paragraph arrived quickly.
The MSN article went live within the promised window, then disappeared a few days later without proactive notice from them.
Responsiveness

They replied promptly to messages, but responses were often generic and did not answer direct questions, like what specific MSN guideline changed or why my post was removed.
When asked for documentation, none was provided.
Handling issues

Instead of restoring the MSN deliverable, they offered a different site I had not agreed to.
They sent a social graphic that stated I was named a Top 10 speaker by MSN. That wording was inaccurate.
They asked me to remove social posts and later asked me to remove my Trustpilot review. At one point they offered a complimentary new placement if I took the review down.
Professionalism and boundaries

Communication remained polite, but explanations were inconsistent and avoided the core problem that the contracted MSN listing did not remain available.
I asked them to stop contacting me; emails continued.
A refund was not initiated by them. PayPal closed the case in my favor and issued the refund.
Bottom line

They delivered initial materials on time, but the core deliverable did not endure. Issue management focused on substitutions and reputation requests rather than solving the underlying failure.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In my experience, this company seems to be duplicitous and I would not recommend them in any capacity. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something PRESSIQA could have done differently?

Areas for improvement (based on my experience)
Full transparency about what’s being sold. Clearly state that these are syndicated posts (not MSN editorial features), explain the expected lifespan and lack of archiving, and avoid wording that could be read as an editorial accolade.
Contract clarity and remedies. Define the minimum publication duration in writing, specify what happens if a link is removed (e.g., refund vs. substitution with explicit consent), and include a straightforward refund path.
Evidence and documentation. If removal is attributed to a platform “policy change,” provide actual documentation from the platform. Proactively notify clients if a post goes down.
Accurate marketing assets. Avoid graphics or copy that state or imply “MSN named X…” when the platform has not made an editorial selection.
Professional invoicing. Use a business-domain email and a business payment account tied to the registered company entity, with a verifiable business address on invoices.
Respect for boundaries and reviews. Cease outreach when a client asks you to stop, and do not request removal of factual reviews or tie “complimentary” services to review changes.
Issue resolution over substitution. When the core deliverable doesn’t endure, prioritize making the client whole rather than offering a different site that wasn’t agreed to.
Bottom line: Given the gap between what I understood I was purchasing and what was delivered, I would not engage again. These improvements might help future customers, but in my view, they’re not enough for me to consider another engagement.
