We started by discussing our goals and broad information about our business and strategy. During this discovery phase, we were focused on building a data-driven approach. Power Digital runs our Facebook and Google Ads. The team also creates advertisements and has made a content calendar for us. They’ve run our SEO efforts in the past, but we’re primarily focused on our paid advertising efforts.

We started working together in July 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

Our important metrics have increased since we started working together; some important metrics for us have been marketing metrics and ROAS. They consistently provide us with excellent quality work. 

How did Power Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We have very active discussions via Slack and email. The communication is structured, and we consistently set new targets and work backward on how to hit them. We communicate where we are on our plans on a weekly basis and adjust when needed. We’ve been very impressed with their project management skills. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is very data-driven and strategic in terms of business. They aren’t just a marketing vendor; they have a holistic approach and help us think through ideas like product operations and how they interact with marketing. They’re a trusted partner and levels above other vendors. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing we can come up with. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Create a culture that allows Power Digital to perform at their best. They’re very knowledgeable, but you must create a space for them to present their ideas. Let them challenge you and your ideas because that’s when you’ll have the most transparent dialogue.

I’m the omnichannel channel development lead at Catalina Crunch. We’re a consumer packaged goods (CPG) startup in the cereal and snacks grocery category.

What challenge were you trying to address with Power Digital?

We were working with a different partner for our Amazon and omnichannel business but felt that we had plateaued with them. We were looking for a new agency partner to help with the day-to-day management of Amazon and other omnichannel paid search efforts and also to help with strategic planning.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Power Digital consults on our marketing and online sales strategy. We started by having them manage our Walmart and Instacart online advertising. Then about five months later, we transitioned our Amazon business over to them as well. We haven’t provided them with documents, but we’ve had multiple conversations explaining our gaps and hopes for the partnership.

What is the team composition?

The engagement started with one salesperson. Since then, we’ve talked with 3–5 teammates, usually 2–3 at a time. Power Digital wants to make sure we’ve been introduced to everyone we’d potentially work with.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in October 2021, and we’re still working with them.

How did you come to work with Power Digital?

We have a mutual investor who mentioned Power Digital to our founder and CEO. We looked into three or four other potential partners but landed on Power Digital.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m really happy with what Power Digital has done; from May 2022–December 2022, we saw month-over-month (MoM) increases in Amazon sales. During major tentpole events in 2023, they’ve worked with us to put together great all-inclusive plans. For example, we had a stellar January due to our “new year, new you” campaign; this led to a really great February and March.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

Power Digital is great about staying within the parameters of our budget and checking in regularly to communicate if we’re overpacing or underpacing. They do a great job of hitting the deadlines we set.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

The whole team has been really great; they’re a huge part of our success. Joe (Managing Director, Creative Services) leads the team, and they all do a great job together.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The biggest difference I’ve seen with Power Digital — aside from Amazon sales growth — is that they’re a true partner; I can tell they care about our business and our growth. It’s hard to find a partner that feels like they’re truly on your team as opposed to just a third party you’re working with.

I’ve had a great experience with Power Digital, and when we’ve run into hiccups, they’re really open to transparency and feedback. I feel comfortable bringing up areas of opportunity, and they’re willing to pivot as needed.

No, nothing stands out.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

In general, it’s important to be really transparent with third-party agencies and provide your partner with guidelines, parameters, and expectations. Having a great communication flow to make sure everyone’s on the same page has made this partnership really successful. I give Power Digital KPIs and benchmarks, which allow them to do their job efficiently.

They are diligent in their monthly reporting, giving us clear and actionable insight into fluctuating trends and steps needed to adjust to our goals. They understand our objectives with regards to rankings and desired foothold in the marketplace and work with us to gain traction.

We are presented with monthly reports that clearly demonstrate upward movement in all areas in which we are working with them, including ROAS, revenue and rankings. Their efforts in key areas including Google advertising, YouTube advertising and search engine optimization are proving to be successful, helping our business immensely, in this saturated marketplace.

They are sharp in their recommendations with regards on what needs to be adjusted and what can continue to be tested (i.e. what's working), and we have the utmost trust in them.

They are always very responsive and attentive to our needs. They go above and beyond to support us in every aspect of our partnership. When we have ideas, they are open to hearing them and offering advice on what can be executed, what cannot be executed and why, and how we can get creative in testing.

 They clearly explain what is needed from us in order to deliver on what is expected from them so that there is open communication and mutual delivery from both teams. The conversations are always easy and fluid, making for a very comfortable and communicative partnership. They are a dream to work with!

With the support of their forward-thinking sound strategies and in-house experts, we have grown all KPIs by double and triple digits.

We hit double and triple growth in all KPIs. With the help of their content and SEO strategies, we increased our page 1 keyword(s), driving our organic search conversions. Their marketing ops support stabilized and built a consistent, forecastable, and reportable lead funnel that helped our marketing managers optimize our campaigns resulting in triple-digit lead volume. 

The digital marketing team provided invaluable input into our strategy. Their ongoing attention to reviewing and iterating the results led to a consistent MOM increase in qualified leads and opportunities.

The entire PDM team has an exceptional ability to understand our strategic intent and recommend the best forward-thinking solutions. I can't say enough good things about the team at PDM. PDM is more than an agency; they are an extension of our team. They are very engaged and do whatever they can to support our goals. PDM is unique because they assign subject-matter experts in all areas where they help you, so we can focus on other areas of the business that need our attention. This can be scary sometimes, as some agencies aren't as committed to your success as PDM is. 

This enables us to think bigger and make bold moves, knowing we have a partner we can count on to support us in our success.

Whenever I have any issues, there is a way to communicate those quickly, and they immediately act on them. So I have no other feedback at this time.

I’m a senior brand manager for a frozen cocktail company.

We wanted to engage a full-service digital marketing agency that could manage our paid SEO and PR efforts. We wanted to bring our partnerships under one roof versus working with several companies with different responsibilities. Our team is small, and we didn’t have the resources to bring those services in internally, so we partnered with Power to manage our digital marketing.

Initially, we engaged Power to take over as our SEO and PR agency. Over time, we wanted to develop our online marketing tactics, so we expanded Power’s responsibilities and handed them the keys to our other marketing channels. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Power has implemented a more successful digital marketing strategy than our original one. They’ve delivered excellent quality work and made the most out of our marketing dollars. Their efforts have facilitated hundreds of media placements and increased our website traffic exponentially. Our email marketing efforts have improved significantly; we’ve reached 5,000 subscribers over a few months and increased our click-through rate. 

We’ve also seen a fantastic return on our paid social media advertising year-over-year (YoY). Not only have we been able to reach more people through social media, but Power has helped us effectively target our audience, which is a much more efficient use of our budget. Our partnerships team has secured 6 co-branded promotions, and we’ve set up more heading into next year. 

How did Power Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Power has been a very thorough, organized partner; they’ve delivered everything on time and within budget. The team has orchestrated a seamless, streamlined communication process. Their cross-team communication and synergy have blown us away; I’ve never seen a team work so well in tandem with one another. 

We’ve met weekly and reached out to our account manager via phone and email in between meetings; they’ve been very open and responsive throughout. When we’ve shared feedback, the Power team has rolled with it and held brainstorming sessions for how best to implement the changes. They’ve not only accepted our ideas, but they’ve also improved upon them.

We’ve been most impressed by Power’s unique perspective on the marketing landscape. If you're looking for one team to take over your digital marketing efforts and serve as a collective unit for all your marketing channels, I’d highly suggest working with Power. Dedicating your marketing budget to Power will be much easier than engaging several partners and dividing their responsibilities.

I’m the CMO of Dwellful, a real estate technology company. We help home buyers and sellers across the US find local real estate agents. In my role, I oversee our marketing efforts with the goal of driving inbound leads to help those potential buyers and sellers connect with the real estate agents.

Historically, we had been very focused on PPC and paid channels to drive traffic, so we were looking for someone who could help us with our SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, Power Digital made an SEO audit of our website and set up a basic plan for growing our organic traffic. Then, they took charge of executing that strategic plan to build SEO content and increase our Google rankings.

I worked with 5–6 people from Power Digital, including an account manager who oversaw our daily collaboration, people focused on technical SEO, and people focused on content development and backlinking.

How did you come to work with Power Digital Marketing?

I met Power Digital through a personal reference. I had previously worked with a colleague who managed SEO teams and had worked with various agencies. He put me in contact with some of these agencies, including Power Digital’s co-founder.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent close to $50,000 in total. Their fee was around $12,000 per month as we scaled our efforts towards the end of our engagement.

We worked together from September 2021–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Power Digital quickly identified pages within our site that represented an opportunity to increase our organic search positioning. Thanks to their efforts, we went from having hundreds of visitors coming in organically every month to having a few thousands of visitors within six months.

The 5X increase in organic visitors was possible due to Power Digital’s page optimizations, content development, and interlinking strategies, which helped us rank keywords better. Additionally, we were able to increase our domain authority from 9–12, which was a very meaningful improvement considering the short amount of time in which they achieved it.

How did Power Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Power Digital was great at delivering assets on time. Whenever we faced roadblocks on either’s end, they were great at communicating about them and adjusting timelines accordingly.

Power Digital had very good processes in place to develop a tracking system for the tasks they were responsible for; we mostly organized the project using Google Docs and Sheets. We also coordinated with them on content development, using a clear calendar to see which pieces of content were in development, which ones were ready for approval, and which ones were ready to publish.

In addition to that, Power Digital put together some data studio reports to track the main KPIs that we were following during the project. We also communicated via email and had biweekly calls with their team to review updates, progress, and performance.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One aspect of Power Digital that really stood out as I evaluated different agencies was that they took the time to understand our business model well and lay out a specific plan for the real estate industry. They created a very tailored plan, focusing on local searches and specific targeting, which went a long way in securing our relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They did a great job, and we were very happy with their performance. We didn’t end our collaboration because of them, but because we were going in a different direction, so we ended our partnership on good terms.
