I am the COO of Fize, an insurtech company providing instant access and verification to consumer insurance data.

We work with Ponee on a multitude of projects to design all of our mocks, slides, websites, and widgets.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them by chance on Upwork, and decided to work with them after their prescriptive diagnostic of our needs, preliminary work, and speed to production. They were an obvious choice to continue growing with, and we're lucky to have them.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, Ponee began production on a number of our needs - from slide design to mockup graphics, to entire consumer-facing websites. They work to understand our exact needs, request feedback early and often, and continue optimizing until we reach our exact needs.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

While we work very closely with Kirill and Zoia, we know there's a whole host of collaborators behind them to support our business.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The best demonstration of their success is the fact we continue to eagerly work with them and involve them as design leads on our projects.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Super effective. We primarily work through Slack Connect, and will hop on Zooms as needed. Everything is reviewed simply in Figma.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their willingness to take on any project and work quickly to get things done is impressive! This is exactly what we need in a partner.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing particularly - whenever there's minor misalignment, which can frankly happen between any partner, they're very quick to adjust and course correct as needed. This is what you want in a partner.

We needed help to design the logged in version of our product with a well thought out User Experience and clean UI design that makes a quite complicated product feel easy and understandable to use.

How did you select this vendor?

We conducted interviews with around 10 different designer agencies and felt that the design style and way of working of Ponee was what suited our company and the way we work the best.

They had a well specified workflow which included deep interviews, mood boards, app flow and high-fidelity UX wireframes before the UI design process started. Something that suited us well.

We worked directly with their project manager Kostya and the main designer Zoia for our project. Other designers was involved for easier tasks but Zoia had the main responsibility from their side.

We are super happy with the work that the Ponee team did and are currently working on implementing the design in our product for the world to see.

We are developing a marketing automation tool for real estate professionals and we hired Ponee because we were having a hard time figuring out how to provide a super clean UX while also giving our users control of their complex workflows and data.

We researched a lot of different UX professionals on Upwork and moved forward with Ponee because their processes, designs, & skills were top-notch!

Once we sent over our project requirements the Ponee team conducted a bunch of amazing research that not only greatly benefited our UX strategy but also helped our all-around business strategy. Once Ponee was fully brought up to speed (super-quick), they sent over many design references, mood boards, and a lot more recourses for us to decide on what design/UX route we should take.

Once we confirmed the design guide, everything was super quick and they never failed to exceed expectations. Ponee began delivering screens on a daily basis and they were always amazing at communication and execution throughout the whole process.

Our team worked with project managers and designers throughout the process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing it was working with each and every person at Ponee!! Their communication was perfect, their UX knowledge was as if we hired a team at Apple, and their output was far beyond expectations. Bottom line - Working with Ponee was such a great experience in every possible way and I hope I can work with them again in the near future.

I work with a lot of freelance people/agencies and working with Ponee has honestly been my favorite & overall best experience!!

The workflow was perfect! We were in contact with project managers on a daily basis and we also had a weekly meeting where we discussed the project as a whole. Truthfully, the Ponee team was so quick & efficient that oftentimes the meetings just consisted of them letting me know what I needed to get done or approve lol

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their workflow is super efficient, Their UX/UI ideas & designs were amazing!, They have a lot of experience, and Communication was perfect! Everything that they've produced is top-notch quality, and you can tell that quality is something they focus on.

Would not change a thing!

After interviewing several other agencies they seemed the most dynamic and with the best value/price ratio. Furthermore I liked their portfolio and general design style.

The stages are pretty strightforward. Research stage - getting familiar with the product and the market UX stage - creating/updating ux design and flows UI stage - creating a final user interface

The end result is a Figma file. The file includes all design stages. It's important to note that styleguide is a part of it which makes development much easier and more systematic.

Communication was great, both the designer and manager were very responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their agility and efficiency seem pretty unique. They worked well as a unit, and it was easy to make arrangements with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always room for improvement. Perhaps focusing more on smaller resolutions.

We needed a user-friendly, sophisticated UI/UX design for a consumer-facing app.

We selected the vendor though one of the online platforms.

We had the rough sketch /wireframe of the app with us and we needed that translated into a proper wireframe/UI/UX design. We went through different stages from app flow through the UI Prototype.

There were at least 4 resources available at any given time with whom we interacted with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are extremely pleased with the final outcome. They were able to take our initial draft wireframe and translate that into a great app design that developers could translate into a real product. We will hire them again in the future for our design needs. They also helped us with the Website design and that turned out great too. They were extremely proficient in managing the workflow and in their communications.

As mentioned above they were very efficient in their workflow management.

Great combination of good project management and design insight.
