The consultant assigned to us began by implementing an onboarding process for the Help Desk area. This involved training all employees on the new Help Desk ticket creation process and informing them about his new responsibility for managing various software systems used at our company. The consultant performed an asset audit with existing asset lists and information through his discussions with employees.

In addition, a device management software list was implemented to manage the assets. The consultant created IT ADMIN accounts for all the computers on the asset list and ensured that disk encryption was enabled on these machines. He also developed documents to inform reThought employees about current issues and their corresponding solutions.

To further support Help Desk efforts, the consultant established a Help Desk Library that includes documents he created and relevant videos found online about important issues and apps used here. Lastly, the consultant worked on various tasks assigned to him by our team.

Our consultant showed superior ability to meet a target head-on and he completed projects well in advance of the deadlines established. Even though he was in Peru, he was on a time zone similar to US Central Time, so it was perfect. With Zoom, Slack and email, there was a consistent mode available in order for us to communicate. Our consultant was very eager and very willing to be of help to us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Pod is a very responsive company that puts their clients first. This was extremely economical for us and the quality was absolutely terrific. We had a list of projects and our consultant completed them all, on budget and better than "on time" -- they were completed earlier than expected.

None! Excellent value combined with excellent quality of work.

Pretty effective, we enjoyed the communication and attention to detail we received. We initially went through email and zoom meetings. Then migrated to slack as we started to collaborate more closely together. All deliverables were properly made to client specifications and delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We really enjoyed their attention to detail and full transparency pricing model. It really helped in feeling like we were partners in building our team. Also, I wasn’t aware of the growing tech community and talent in Peru. We’ll definitely be turning to Pod to expand our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something {provider_name} could have done differently?

We would’ve liked to have direct access to search through their network of tech talent, but if they’re continuously able to provide the level of support they gave us, I don’t see a major problem in not having direct access.

We were in dire need of an immediate team member that could assist with handling customer service queries via text. POD was able to find a qualified and well trained customer service rep within a very short amount of time. Danny was instrumental during the onboarding process and checked in multiple times to ensure a successful team augmentation. I'm very pleased with this partnership and highly recommend POD!
