Founded in 1953 in Yakima, WA, Petersen CPAs and Advisors is a certified public accounting firm providing highly personalized tax, audit and accounting services to businesses and individuals. Our firm originated in 1953 when Robert R. Dolsen opened his own CPA practice. Over the years as the firm changed ownership so did the name. In 2012, Ryan Smith joined partner Mathew Petersen, and the firm rebranded as Petersen CPAs and Advisors. Angela Pratt joined the leadership team in 2014.
While our name has changed, one thing has remained the same: our focus on friendly service and expertise. Because at Petersen we know when it comes to delivering value, what really matters to clients isn’t the name on the sign; it’s the personalities of our people.
