The studio’s illustrative style and elegant, often clever, design solutions soon gained both regional and national acclaim, bringing the opportunity to develop classic brands for clients as diverse as Haggar Apparel, Mary Kay Cosmetics and The American Heart Association. The firm’s work continued to gain notoriety and attracted the attention of such well-known brands as Neiman-Marcus, Milton-Bradley, Farah/Savane and Lincoln Hotels—brands whose success has depended upon their image and shared connection with their customers. In 1994, Rex founded Studio | Peteet Design (formerly Sibley/Peteet Design, Austin, the company's second office), to better serve the region’s expanding market as well as the firm’s growing client base. Over the years, the studio’s expertise in brand strategy and development has continued to grow, along with the leadership team, and today the company's services include a full range of strategic planning, naming, identity development, marketing communications, interactive services and brand management capabilities.
