What does your business do and what is your role at your company?

Our company focuses on optics, inertial tracking and general computing, and is mainly engaged in the development of virtual reality input devices, in-depth technology R&D and patent layout around AR/MR interaction.

What is the main reason you hired the service provider?

We wanted to build a perfect after-sales system of the website which provides one-stop services including design, SEO optimization, bidding services, etc. They’re chosen for their good service attitude and professional competence.

How exactly did the service provider help your company? What services did they provide for you?

They are responsible for the basic maintenance of the website, including the maintenance of the website space and the website domain name. They also regularly renew the enterprise mailboxes of some companies on a yearly basis. In addition, their responsibility includes optimizing keywords of the website, regularly anti-virus maintenance and data sorting on a regular basis.

After the delivery of the website, the website construction company shall provide background operation guidance to the operators of the website.

After guidance, the operators shall be familiar with all the functions in the background (such as the addition, modification, deletion of the website content, etc.) and the process of problem feedback.

Generally, guidance for small and medium-sized enterprises can be conducted remotely; as for complex functions, professional personnel are required to conduct face-to-face demonstration and guidance.

How many teammates did the service provider have to help your business? 

In the project, they provided us with the completed website after-sales service system incorporating the operation Department, design department, personnel department, product department, etc. At present, Qianhai Design has arranged a team of 5-6 people for our company.

We found the vendor through external bidding evaluation. We chose them because they can provide an all-round customer service.

What is the status of this engagement? 

At present, the website has been launched. The project is still ongoing and the after-sales service is running well.

How did the vendor perform from a project management standpoint?

The service provider performed excellently. The project’s communication is carried out through weekly meeting, regular meeting and monthly work report to ensure the fulfillment of quota. Throughout the project, the supplier responds quickly and has no communication obstacles.

Are there any areas they could improve?

To improve the management dimension in the project operation, and actively optimize the project website framework and cases.
