Pashyaa Technologies was founded in 2020 in Pune by Prasanna Sherekar, after nine years building Java systems in banking, healthcare and SaaS. We exist to make business-critical Java systems current, tested and secure, at a fixed price. We stay deliberately small: the engineer who scopes your work also reviews every change. Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed price, and ends with tests in your CI and a handover report.

What Sets Us Apart

Fixed price, agreed before work starts

Every step has a written scope and a fixed price agreed in writing first. No hourly billing, no open-ended estimates. The $900 assessment ends with a fixed quote, and its fee is credited if you go ahead.

Tests first, then change

Before touching critical code we put automated tests around it, so we can prove behavior is unchanged. Changes arrive as reviewed pull requests in your repository, with a rollback plan and handover report.

A principal engineer on every change

We stay deliberately small. The person who scopes your upgrade reviews every change, including AI-assisted ones, and stays accountable through handover. No account managers in between.

Commonly Asked Questions

The Modernization Assessment takes about one week per application and ends with a fixed quote. A Safety Net typically takes 1–3 weeks, and an upgrade's timeline is fixed in the quote, depending on application size.

We deliberately limit concurrent work so the principal engineer stays hands-on: the person who scopes your work also reviews every change and handles communication through handover.

We've delivered software for GDPR-regulated European platforms and US healthcare environments and are comfortable working under NDAs, data-processing agreements and client security requirements. We are not a certification or legal-compliance provider; we design, build and review software against the technical and security requirements defined for the project.

AI tools speed up the mechanical parts of an upgrade, and we use them too (OpenRewrite, coding agents). What they don't replace is ownership: understanding an existing system, deciding trade-offs, proving behavior is unchanged with tests, and being accountable for the result. Every change we deliver is reviewed by our principal engineer and must pass tests.

Existing Java and Spring Boot applications that are out of support (Spring Boot 2.x, Java 8/11), carry a CVE backlog, or need tests before they can be changed safely. We also work with consultancies and IT firms that need a white-label partner for fixed-price Java upgrades.
