I am the owner of a video production company and animation studio.

I hired Paper Plane Accounting to help with my month-to-month bookkeeping services.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

I was searching for a firm that was up to date and uses modern tools like QuickBooks online.

I learned about them and the services they provided. We then sat down and discussed my needs and where I was lacking when it came to keeping my bookkeeping organized. After that consultation, she set up my QuickBooks account, got me started and showed me the ins and outs of how to add and track things using the software.

Describe their billing or cost structure.

She charges me hourly based on the work that is required month to month. Depending on how many receipts I have and invoices the cost can fluctuate a little which I don't mind as if I have a slow month then I do not have to pay for anything.

How many resources from the firm's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I only worked with the owner of the company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the engagement or general feedback about the services?

Since working with Paper Plane Accounting the organization of my business has improved drastically. I feel accountable to make sure I keep my receipts uploaded and try to track things correctly as to not have to answer a bunch of questions from them.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

If she has an issue or does not understand something I have added to Quickbooks then I normally get an email with the issue. From there if it is easy I just respond to the email or I give her a call to sort everything out.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fact that she really helped me understand how to use the Quickbooks software and is very patient in teaching me and answering my questions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No I do not think so, I will be moving my accounting needs over to Paper Plane for the next tax year as I was very impressed.
