Paper Moon Photography NYC is the portrait and event work of Whitney Kidder, an award-winning freelance photographer based in New York City. Born and raised in Iowa, she holds a degree in Professional Photography from Hawkeye Community College and in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa. Whitney began her career as photojournalist, working at the Connecticut Post documenting the community of Bridgeport and the surrounding area. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times, the Village Voice, and USA Today. Some of her clients include the United Nations, FoodCorps, BlogHer, Art Works Projects, along with designers, actors, performers, and high school seniors.
