Packaging By Design, Inc. was established in 1983. Family owned and operated, the custom printing company started out in a 16,000 sq.ft. building in Niles, IL. In 1993, PBD under went the transformation from a solvent ink and adhesive system over to a water-based system was completed, making Packaging By Design one of the few flexo printers / converters in the industry that have gone to a complete water-based system for both printing inks and lamination adhesives.
