Out & About Nashville, Inc. debuted in the fall of 2002 as a monthly newspaper designed to fill a growing need in the Nashville lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. In 2017 it changed to an all glossy magazine format. It has grown to become the largest LGBT media organization in Tennessee. It has two main outlets to produce and serve its readers - a print issue which has more than 30,000 readers each month, and online (www.outandaboutnashville.com).
