I’m the financial controller of an IT services company. We provide advanced entertainment, technology, satellite communication, automation, and control systems for large yachts. We serve clients worldwide from offices in the US and the UK.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Orin Rice Staffing & Consulting?

We needed to find the ideal candidate with over seven years of experience in client services, sales, or customer-facing roles, including at least three years in leadership within technical services, project-based industries, or complex B2B. This candidate also needed to be proficient with CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales software and demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.Moreover, we needed someone with proven success in designing and implementing data-driven sales strategies, aligning client services with execution, managing budgets, and accurate forecasting. This candidate also needed to excel in building strong client relationships, upselling, retention strategies, and representing the company at industry events.Additionally, this candidate needed to be skilled in using KPIs for performance evaluation, delivering reports, fostering team development, driving process improvements, and exhibiting outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. All of the above needed to be combined with the ability to work in a niche industry requiring mid-level knowledge of a wide range of technologies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Orin Rice Staffing & Consulting recruited sales professionals based on the goals and objectives I previously mentioned. The final interviews were handled by our internal executive team. However, Orin Rice Staffing & Consulting handled all other aspects and only presented qualified candidates for the final interview conducted by our executive team.
