Who we are

Fernando Morello

Singer, producer, guitarist, composer, arranger and recording and mixing technician. He began his music studies with the guitar, dedicating himself to classical music, choros and Brazilian styles.

In the 1980s, at the age of 18, he studied popular composition with composer and arranger Mario Adnet. He studied singing with Marco Dantonio and Maria Lúcia Valadão. He founded the “Coro Come”, a cult vocal group that mixed theater with music, of which he would eventually become one of the directors and soloists. He became a singing teacher, and his students included the singers of the group “Miquinhos Amestrados”, Abreu and Avelar, and the actress Drica Moraes. He directed musical pieces such as Prockofief’s “Pedro e o Lobo” (Pedro and the Wolf), the play “Tontas Coisas” (text by Chacal), both directed by Beto Brown, and the children’s musical by Tim Rescala and Karem Accioly “OsVisigodos”.

In 1984, he won the award for best arrangement and soundtrack for an advertisement for Caixa Econômica (MPM agency). In 1989, he joined the experimental music band “Régua”, forming a trio with Rogério S and Carlos Fuchs for three years. He became a student of counterpoint, harmony and morphology of the master of contemporary music, Hans Joaquim Koeullreuter.

In the 1990s, he joined the group that founded Discover Digital Estúdio in Jardim Botânico in Rio, where he shared a production, arrangement and keyboard programming room with Carlos Trilha, who was finishing Renato Russo's solo album “Equilíbrio Distante” at the time. He worked on Renato Russo's posthumous album “O ultimo solo” (EMI-Odeon), overseeing the editing and restoration of Renato's vocals. They produced several CDs, in addition to providing one-off services for artists such as Marisa Monte, Ana Carolina, Caetano Veloso (film “Lisbela e o Prisioneiro”), Los Hermanos, Netinho, Catedral and many others.
