The OptimWorks team performed necessary testing to ensure new feature developments could be released without our users experiencing bugs. Additionally, they developed a couple of automated test suites that we incorporated into our CI/CD pipeline to ensure development safety and flag any issues that were created from new development work.

We sped up our development velocity by 20% by reducing the amount of QA work required by our development team. Additionally, we reduced the number of bugs that were released to customers by 30%.

Work was completed timely. When our test engineer didn't know how to do something, management helped him complete the desired objectives.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The test engineer assigned to our project was detail-oriented and a strong communicator -- even though English wasn't his first language. He was always timely and thorough with his findings.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Optimworks Technologies Private Limited could have done differently?

At first, our test suite was developed and deployed such that it was pretty spotty. After a few months, sufficient changes were made where the suite was more steady, but we still struggled with intermittent issues. I would've liked to see Optimworks step in with a senior test engineer to help troubleshoot the issues.

Additionally, when our test engineer took time off, Optimworks did not provide a substitute unless explicitly asked -- it would've been nice if schedules were managed in-house and substitute resources were allocated automatically.
