While studying graphic design at the School of Visual Arts in NYC in 1986, I landed a summer internship at the Boston Globe and said “be back soon” to the city I loved.
In the years since, I’ve directed a variety of newspaper sections, special projects and magazines, been recognized with over 75 awards from the Society of News Design, Society of Publication Designers, Art Directors Club, American Illustration and Print magazine, and have only been back to NYC for the occasional visit.
