Okahara and Associates, Inc.

Okahara and Associates, Inc., established in 1979, is a local firm that has deep roots in the state of Hawaii. Today we offer the services of qualified civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and landscape architects for a range of projects.

However, our earliest work was designing durable mechanical equipment for sugar mills during an era when plantations and industrial sugar production dominated Hawaii's landscape.

An Adaptable Firm

Of course, the sugar industry is no longer a Hawaii powerhouse. However, we were able to adapt our skills to design HVAC, plumbing, municipal pump stations, and fuel systems. By the middle of the 1980s, Okahara and Associates, Inc. had expanded to include civil engineering services in the fields of infrastructure and land development design. 

In every project undertaken by our qualified civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and landscape architects, we continue to follow the principles of engineering excellence.
