Odyssey Custom Works LLC was founded in 2021 by Dan Mortensen to meet a growing demand locally for custom aftermarket marine products. As an avid boater himself, Dan saw that there are many other companies that are established in this industry, but not all seem to have the same concentration on producing high quality products and commit to their delivery dates.
Being brought up in a family-owned business that specialized in custom automation assembly machines since the 1970’s, it was instilled in Dan at a young age that top quality manufacturing, customer communication, and on time delivery commitments would keep business thriving.
Dan received his B.S in Mechanical Engineering at Florida State University in 2009.
