Odd Dukk

Founded in 2023 by media creator Timo Bach, Odd Dukk is a Chicago-based art studio dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind, handmade art you can wear, utilizing up-cycled textiles as a canvas. 
Bach started his career in the media industry as the creator of a number of successful digital shows, and as a producer at a national cable news network, but quickly realized his passions for art, vintage clothing, and storytelling far surpassed all others. After spending five years developing the skills, contacts, and financials he needed to step out on his own, Odd Dukk was born. 
  
Odd Dukk was created to combat five key problems in the modern textile industry:

1. Cutting down on waste: giving used textiles a second life, making new pieces that will stand the test of time
2. Made in the USA: creating art and clothing manufacturing jobs in Chicagoland
3. Bringing art back to fashion: American fashion is gray and bland; we love color
4. Making clothes meaningful: creating unique yet wearable garments that help you tell your story
5. Saving old art forms: finding new ways to incorporate traditional art
