We started OBCO to fix a gap we kept seeing across the GCC: tax and regulatory advice that was either fast or trustworthy, rarely both. So we built an AI-native practice — AI handles document processing and data work at speed, but every judgment call on Corporate Tax, VAT, and cross-border structuring stays with a senior advisor. Clients get answers quickly without losing the accountability of working with a real advisor. It's a big reason our client retention rate is 100%.

Wahaj Siddiqui is the Founder & MD of Oblique Consult, launched in 2018 after years at KPMG, Etihad, and Emirates. He also co-founded Simpla AI, bringing AI-powered financial guidance to the UAE.

Arslan Ahmad is a Senior Manager, triple-designated Chartered Accountant (CPA Canada, ACA ICAEW, ACCA) specializing in corporate finance advisory, audit, international tax, and ERP transformation across the GCC, UK, and South Asia.
