Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

NSigma was hired first in a consulting fashion to review and suggest improvements and set up for future data ingestion, automation, and DWH/Datalake. After review, NSigma was hired to implement the proposal. Finally, NSigma helped create machine learning algorithm with a goal to help with asset allocation and risk prediction model.

NSigma provided the timeline along with project scope. Each milestone was defined in terms of time and deliverables. The team worked closely with our data analyst

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The technical acumen was something we never experienced before. most other providers required us to pay for difference tools to assist with the project while NSigma was able to do the entire project via open source and completely custom to our needs. 

These guys are true experts and extremely hard workers. The initial project was scheduled to take 4 months however it was completed in under 3 months. We worked with various service providers who would put the youngest team members on the project and charge time and material which always went over budget. 

NSigma went with fixed price and delivered well under proposed timeline which was a pleasant surprise. In addition, their company culture is awesome. The guys are quirky and extremely bright. Everything thrown at them was answered with “ok no problem. That’s all?”

Are there any areas for improvement or something NSigma could have done differently?

Maybe presentation. Again these guys are true programmers and being fairly new entity (despite the team being together under different umbrella for many years) the smaller things that some of the more seasoned service providers tend to have such as slick presentations are still work in progress with Nsigma
