Novian & Novian, LLP opened in Los Angeles in 1988 and still works out of Century City, at 1801 Century Park East. It is a full-service firm. In practice that means two kinds of clients: companies and owners who need deals, contracts and disputes handled, and people dealing with an injury or a property problem.

For businesses, the attorneys take on business litigation and dispute resolution, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, securities, real estate, and intellectual property work covering patents, trademarks, copyright and trade secrets. They also advise clients in entertainment, healthcare, hospitality and technology, where questions about privacy, publicity and online platforms come up often. Employment disputes are a large part of the practice too, including wrongful termination, discrimination and wage claims. On the injury side, the firm handles personal injury and catastrophic injury cases, from filing through trial.

Managing partner Farhad Novian leads a team of partners, senior counsel and associates. The office is in Los Angeles, but the firm has represented clients across California and around the country.
