I am a project manager at AFP Confía, a pension fund management company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Novatech?

We wanted to develop a mobile app to strengthen our digital presence.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Novatech developed a mobile application for us using Xamarin. The app allows us to grow our affiliation, communicate discounts and other promotions, and improve our relationship with our affiliates.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked directly with 4–6 people from Novatech.

How did you come to work with Novatech?

We did comprehensive research and evaluated different mobile app development companies for this project. Novatech scored the highest in terms of cost-benefit and product quality, among other things. They have since become a regular service provider for our company.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $80,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

At the moment, more than 400,000 of our clients are now using the mobile app developed by Novatech. We’ve also received positive feedback in terms of how easier the app made it for them to set appointments.

Novatech has utilized various project management tools throughout the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Throughout the years we’ve been working together, we have developed a very close and supportive professional relationship with Novatech. I really appreciate their patience, flexibility, responsiveness, and consistency in exceeding expectations. 

Their support and guidance have truly added a lot of value to our partnership — in fact, we actually ended up incorporating more new technologies as per their advice. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly don’t think that there’s anything they could improve upon — they’ve done a great job and have always exceeded our expectations.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am Co-founder an application that intends to connect physical therapists and patients for injury-specific treatment at a time and location of the patients’ choice.

For what projects/services did your company hire Kadevjo Studio?

We had our app half-way completed when our developer decided to leave the project. We then found Kadevjo who was able to bring the project back to life, they helped us with the completion of the development for our application and re-design of our webpage.

What were your goals for this project?

Main goal: Get our APP HIPAA compliant and available in the app store and google play. Our app was built to allow physical therapists to have control of their schedule and patients to have access to therapy at any location they desire.

How did you select Kadevjo Studio?

They were recommended through a close friend and we had a couple of meetings before decided to move forward. We took 3 other companies into consideration, we selected Kadevjo because their pricing was competitive and their team was very complete. All 5 co-founders took place in the decision process.

Describe the project in detail.

The application was 75% completed when kadevjo took over, therefore many of the design features, wireframes, guidelines, UX/UI, were already in place. However, Kadevjo was able to optimize aesthetics and processes as well as HIPAA compliance which was a necessity.

The vendor was responsible for bug fixes, optimization of the UI and HIPAA compliance, and subsequently how that communicated into our website.

What was the team composition?

We had 2 developers, 1 designer, 1 project manager, and a Business relationship manager. The team changed over time but Kadevjo was able to adapt accordingly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have not yet launched the application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team responded well to feedback and had all intentions of fixing bugs and problems when needed. They were very proactive in ensuring we receive what we paid for, with no issues with time or language barriers.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I believe their word ethic was outstanding as they had great customer service and are very dedicated to ensuring all requirements are met.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I believe they can improve their organizational skills internally, some things had to be repeated many times, and certain things were forgotten.
