I needed a new website to show my portfolio. I also needed it to be optimized for SEO.

NOVA Brandworks designed and developed my website. They also provided SEO services and handled the technical setup of Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

NOVA Brandworks has delivered a functional website that is well-designed. It allows potential clients to see my work and get in touch with me. Since it's a brand-new website, I haven't seen any changes in website traffic, inquiries, or client engagement yet, but I expect a rise. I'm planning to track the success of the website and SEO efforts through analytics, such as form fills.

How did NOVA Brandworks perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time. We communicate through in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NOVA Brandworks' clear communication is impressive. The team has been able to bring my vision to life. They're also very smart and strategic.

I have a non-profit grant writer and educator, that provides grant writing and fundraising consulting to small and medium size non profits globally. This includes, grant writing, fundraising, board development, workshops and seminars.

• Design a distinctive identity. Give a first-time site a cohesive, ownable visual system (editorial type plus a clean slate-and-cream palette) that stands apart from generic consultant sites.
• Future-proof the platform. Structure the site to scale into new offerings (like "how to start a nonprofit" and "how to become a grant writer") without a rebuild.
• Design and build a five-page website that repositions Donna Lubrano as a grant educator rather than a grant writer. Key goals: a conversion-focused site that drives Initial Assessment bookings, a full blog migration, and SEO foundations so nonprofits can discover her.
• Drive assessment bookings. Convert visitors into paid 30-minute Initial Assessments with clear, consistent CTAs across every page.
• Establish authority. Surface real credentials (Boston Public Library Boot Camp partner, MA Commissioner, grant reviewer roles) as trust signals for early-stage nonprofits.
• Build a free resource funnel. Create a no-opt-in resource library that captures top-of-funnel education seekers and routes them toward workshops and speaking.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The project was really building out the identity, format and structure of the website customized to my particular service. It was important that the color, design, features adhere to the particular professional identity of the services I wanted to put forward. It was really from the ground up, from assessing color, language, marketing and resources.  NOVA Brandworks was instrumental in helping refine my ideas as well as holding discussions of how the website and the business model could be integrated for maximum impact!

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Repositioned the brand from grant writer to grant educator and removed funding-guarantee language sitewide, cutting liability exposure while giving every page one clear, consistent message about what was the value proposition of my services. It helped me clarify my own services as well, reduced the noise on the many services I could provide. It helped me clarify my business model as well.

Delivered a complete five-page Squarespace site (Home, About, Resources, Events, Contact) at 100% of contracted scope, built as fully custom-coded sections rather than off-the-shelf templates.

The team consistently delivered all items on time, worked to make adjustments and recommendations and offered feedback on my suggestions. When my timeline changed they were very accomodating and adapted to my needs.
