I’m the CEO of ABC Title. We provide private DMV services such as driver license renewals, registrations, and title duplicates.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with NOLA Broadband?

I was experiencing terrible service from all big brand internet providers. I would lose internet connection on a regular basis, and I had to wait on hold for someone to attend to me on the phone.

If I have no internet connection, I can’t operate, so I was looking for another internet service provider.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NOLA Broadband is my internet service provider. Whenever my internet goes down, I can call or text Aaron (President & CEO) directly, and they help me get back up quickly.

They provide me with backup solutions, and I think they offer telephone services, but I don’t use them for that.

What is the team composition?

I only communicate with Aaron.

How did you come to work with NOLA Broadband?

I didn’t like dealing with the big brand internet companies, so I was looking for a local company that could handle my internet service. I found NOLA Broadband and discovered that their customer service was great.

How much have you invested with them?

NOLA Broadband internet service costs around $500 per month per location. We have five locations, so we spend $2,500 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with NOLA Broadband in December 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to NOLA Broadband’s service, I went from having regular internet outages 3–4 times per year to having almost none. Now, my Internet connectivity downtime has been reduced to less than 0.5% of the time, and I’ve had just 1–2 outages of around 20–30 minutes in the past few years.

How did NOLA Broadband perform from a project management standpoint?

They get the job done quickly, but I don’t know what their internal processes are. We communicate via text, phone, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I have direct access to the company’s owner — that’s not possible with other internet providers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I’ve been completely satisfied with the service that they provide.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They have various options for internet connectivity, such as coaxial cable and line of sight, but I recommend you spend the extra money and go with the optical fiber option.
