I’m the CEO of a fintech development firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with NobleSoft?

We were looking for a technical partner to build a payment engine for a third-party client. The client wanted the tool to help boost their sales and work within their existing software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NobleSoft specializes in .NET and C# solutions. They provided us with technical analysis and gave ideas for the architecture. The team then developed the tool, which functions as an API that combines with the client's existing software. We conducted the analysis portion while they handled the technical aspects. The team now provides support and maintenance services to our client.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3–5 developers throughout the project. The number fluctuated depending on the needs of each stage.

How did you come to work with NobleSoft?

I’ve known their business development director for a long time, but we recently came across each other at a fintech conference in May 2018. We saw an opportunity for cooperation and decided to combine our efforts to provide a service at a lower cost than our competitors. We verified NobleSoft to ensure that their developers would suit our client’s needs and their work has complied with regulations and requirements.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between May–September 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We couldn’t have built the solution without NobleSoft’s involvement. They acted as a partner rather than a subcontractor. Our collaboration proceeded seamlessly and their performance satisfied every party involved, especially our client who has maintained a relationship with us as a result.

How did NobleSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We handled the project management side. NobleSoft’s developers worked onsite, and we oversaw all analysis and testing. We used Jira to keep track of performance and progress, as well as an agile methodology to ensure they implemented each of the client’s requirements. They communicated with us on a daily basis in an effective manner.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NobleSoft stands out from their competitors in ensuring a productive partnership. Past companies I’ve worked with have failed to understand project requirements; NobleSoft’s developers knew exactly what to do. They also could translate the technical aspects of the project into the business parts and demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were quite pleased with their work on such a major project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Use NobleSoft. They are professional consultants and one of the best software providers I’ve worked with.

I’m the director of financial markets products at a Polish bank. I run the department that handles the development and maintenance of our systems that are based on the financial market.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with NobleSoft?

We needed a company to help us migrate our data warehouse from Dublin to Madrid.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Using MS SQL, .NET C#, and other provided tools, the NobleSoft team helped us extract the treasury data and migrate them into our new financial market warehouse. After exporting all of this data, the team built some reconciliation tools to help us make sure that we migrated the correct data.

We also have other ongoing projects with NobleSoft. They've worked with us during the merger with Kredyt Bank and implementation of Mifid and EMIR regulations.

We’re currently finalizing another migration initiative with one of our other banks in Poland. They’re helping us closely with this project as well, using enhanced tools from the previous migration.

What is the team composition?

Our management team heads up the project, treating NobleSoft as an external vendor.

How did you come to work with NobleSoft?

NobleSoft’s owner is one of our former employees, so he already had a lot of background knowledge in banking. We needed a company that understood not only the IT elements of our business but the banking side as well. It was a perfect fit.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2012, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve fully migrated all of the data needed for the treasury business, which boosted our growth rates. We work with two other companies but mainly focus on our partnership with NobleSoft because, in addition to developing business tools, they support and maintain the systems.

How did NobleSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re effectively collaborating with their team, speaking with their chairman daily to discuss the project. We work with an internal management tool, but we’re in the process of expanding it to include our eternal vendors, like NobleSoft.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Because our products are generally complex, there aren’t a lot of local agencies with a good grasp on the IT aspects of the financial market. With the banking background, NobleSoft ranks ahead of their competitors.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. If we notice an issue, we discuss it immediately and implement an agile strategy to fix it.

Any advice for potential customers?

In addition to their team’s IT expertise, they also understand business. I recommend clients ask for their input when making business decisions related to the final product.

I’m the executive director of a software company. We develop and customize software for most of the banks in our region.

What challenge were you trying to address with NobleSoft?

We needed development and consulting help on an iOS and Android app, as well as an Oracle project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They worked on architecture while I focused on algorithms. They used .NET, PHP, C#, and JavaScript. They coded in Objective C for iOS and JavaScript for Android. We used Java for the Oracle project as well.

They offered a lot of new, trendy ideas for the European Union region that we were able to suggest to our clients. These ideas are considered an innovation for the banking sphere. It was connected to the special software for banks for system insights when we’re inside the banks. It’s also for customer portals and mobile apps for end users. It’s for B2B and B2C.

What is the team composition?

We worked with large team of developers.

How did you come to work with NobleSoft?

We met them at an event in Warsaw and we had a lot in common. They have a European approach and vision that we like. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2012.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We expanded some of our contracts with current clients. They also coached our business analysts. They brought fresh ideas about architecture, as well as approaches to make the project better from a technical point of view. Finally, they showed us best practices from the western world from their work with banks in Poland.

How did NobleSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via Skype, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp and used project management tools like Jira as well. I go to Warsaw monthly, and we are meeting with the CEO, the Business Owner, the Sales Manager, and the Head of the Business Development in our office next week

The project managers aren’t very experienced, so we asked them to manage best practices. There isn’t much of a cultural difference, but they did have different approaches to project management. They guys from NobleSoft speak Russian and we have a lot of ethnic Poles on our team, so we used English for the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their empathy. They were able to understand how their explanation would be seen from our side, and how it would look to the president, clerk, or customer’s of the banks we service. They strive to be useful for all stakeholders including buyers, clients, maintenance, services, and support staff. They put themselves in the shoes of anyone who will use the software, order the software, or maintain the software. They do their best to make software that will make everyone’s lives easier.

The Business Owner is an impressive guy. He started as a software developer and he has a lot of experience. He has superior knowledge about all the technologies we work with like connectivity, the best ways to combine technologies, and API. He’s a good coach for big teams.

I don’t see anything.
