The extent of the project was very wide and the allegations against NipsApp were the design and development of a fully explorable virtual city inside of a Metaverse environment, including a multiplayer mode, customizable rewards, and the existence of social masses of people in real-time, and NFT-supportive assets so that it is then scaled up. Moreover, they built the backend architecture of the world, multi-device optimized it, collaborated closely with our creative division to maintain uniformity in the brand. Their products included the overall 3D environment design, the interactive gameplay aspects, and an image-perfect integration of their products with our community tools.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The end product was beyond our anticipations, and the online community engagement strategy quickly placed the virtual world established by NipsApp at the center stage.  Players could easily connect and events did not go askew and our partners found the refined and immersion in the experience were really good. More than aesthetic, the landscape was by nature stable, secure and flexible enough to suit our long term content plans.

The milestones were also well spelt out, frequent updates were given and even when off-hours come and critical phases of testing required urgent input, they would be responsive. Deliveries were accurate and all features worked after deployment. Cooperation with them was an in-house commitment rather than an outsourcing agreement; they had a keen interest in our vision to the latter.

Assuming that any area of improvement had to be mentioned, the process of extending their documentation in case of large scale handovers would have to be mentioned. Their after sale services were very good, but we could have used a more detailed reference guide to our technical personnel.

The scope of work involved all the phases of gamification process, including the idea of the reward structure and achievement system, as well as the development of mini-games that were literally incorporated into baking lessons. Interactive badges, progression levels and a leaderboard system were also utilized to make the experience more of a journey, as opposed to a task. One of the most remarkable deliverables that were introduced was the Baker Quest aspect that allowed users to receive rewards after completing a challenge like the Perfect Cupcake, Bread Master, thus making the learning process incredibly rewarding.

The outcomes were more than what we had expected. The interaction between the user in the application also increased significantly and the community started to share their progress online, which increased our organic presence and solidified the loyalty of the users. The scope of work included creating VR experiences where users could virtually step into a calming studio environment and follow guided yoga practices, complete with real-time posture correction and breathing techniques. Alongside this, AR tools were developed to demonstrate Ayurvedic routines such as preparing herbal remedies or performing self-care rituals through interactive overlays on physical spaces. One of the key deliverables was a customizable user journey, enabling individuals to choose specific health goals such as stress relief, energy enhancement, or holistic wellness, and then receive an immersive program tailored to those needs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The impact was felt almost immediately after introducing the platform. Women who tried the VR yoga modules expressed how lifelike and supportive the sessions felt, especially when practicing at home without a physical instructor. The AR elements became a unique way to make Ayurveda approachable, as users could see step-by-step practices unfold right in front of them. This not only enhanced engagement but also built trust in our brand as a pioneer in combining tradition with modern technology.

If I had to suggest one area of improvement, it would be in providing more training resources for our in-house staff to manage and update the AR/VR tools independently. While their team remained available for support, a more structured onboarding process could have accelerated our ability to adapt the platform as our offerings evolve.

KaCyber is on a mission to make the public transport system in Sub-Saharan Africa efficient and elevate every commuter’s experience while supporting the sector’s growth using digital ticketing and payment solutions.

They developed AR and VR simulations that allowed us to showcase our ticketing and payment ecosystem in a completely new dimension. For instance, with the VR environment, stakeholders could step into a virtual bus station, purchase a ticket through a digital platform, and watch in real time how the process simplified boarding and reduced queues. Similarly, the AR solution let users scan a simple marker with their phones and instantly see how digital validation works on a train or a ferry, all without needing to physically be at the station. The scope of work extended beyond visual demonstrations. NipsApp created training modules for transport operators that simulated different scenarios, such as managing peak-hour crowds or handling mobile wallet transactions. They also designed interactive demos tailored for presentations, which became invaluable during investor meetings and government discussions. Every deliverable reflected not only our technology but also the unique context of African transportation systems, from bus parks to ferry terminals.
