Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the executive director of a nonprofit organization. We work to improve the quality of life of children by providing items such as shoes and clothes to meet their basic needs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nicole Vega Marketing?

We were having difficulty maintaining a consistent social media presence due to our lean staffing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They manage our social media pages, providing us with a constant stream of written and visual content. They draft all posts in a Google Sheet, which I go into to review and approve.

What is the team composition?

I work directly with Nicole (Social Media Consultant).

How did you come to work with Nicole Vega Marketing?

They were referred to us by a colleague of mine for support for a particular fundraising campaign of ours. Based on our experience with that campaign, we’ve continued to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $5,000 with them so far. They bill us by the hour, so we get a good deal.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked together since May 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s hard for us to truly measure the impact of having a consistent social media presence. However, I’ve been hearing anecdotally that our posts are getting more visibility across all platforms. They’re social media experts, so I’m confident that they’re leveraging all necessary functionality to get our posts to the top of our followers’ feeds. They generate high-quality content as well.

How did Nicole Vega Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done a great job. I’ve worked with outsourced social media teams in the past and have had to dedicate a significant amount of time to instill the specifics of our brand voice into their work. They haven’t needed any of this hand-holding. After our initial conversations, I’ve only had to spend about five minutes with them each week to go over our social media strategy. We now communicate solely via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They take the time to listen to us and understand our organization. Their team goes above and beyond to ensure their work hits our targets.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. If they were a larger firm with a greater amount of bandwidth, we’d definitely use them on more projects.
