Nexza Marketing utilized ActiveCollab, which was easy to follow along with updates and communicate with team members. Our project lead always communicated timelines to us to keep us on track. This was a heavy lift for our organization due to time constraints, and always having a project manager available and willing to work with us helped immensely.

Nexza Marketing is a former BOCES graduate and understands the complexities of our organization. they met with our leadership team and, based on their findings and our input, created a vision for the new website that is unlike many in the education space. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nexza Marketing could have done differently?

Bite-sized trainings broken out into categories (I want to create an event, I want to create a new page, I want to write a blog, etc.) on the CMS would be a huge plus.

Nexza Marketing partnered with us to unify our U.S. and European operations under a singular brand identity following Axel Springer's acquisition of POLITICO. Their scope included extensive discovery interviews across our global offices, competitive landscape analysis, and development of both our corporate and employer brand positioning. 
They engaged several internal culture champion groups to ensure our employer brand would resonate with current and prospective talent. Key deliverables included our positioning, employer brand positioning, a refreshed logo, new and unified POLITICO red color, new typography, and comprehensive brand guidelines.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We successfully launched our unified visual identity across U.S. and European operations. Both regions now share the same logo, color scheme, and brand guidelines, which was critical during a tumultuous and challenging time for political journalism.

Nexza Marketing team was responsive and maintained excellent communication throughout our project. They were flexible when our needs shifted and consistently delivered high-quality work on time. 
Media companies are chaotic by nature, and have many excellent word smith and self described experts in branding.Nexza Marketing  worked closely with us to navigate that terrain smoothly, and their ability to navigate the complexities of aligning two distinct regional operations was impressive.

They have exceptional strategic thinking. Nexza Marketing  thoroughly analyzed the media landscape and identified the white space that made POLITICO unique. They were patient with us and savvy about gaining buy-in from leadership across both our U.S. and European teams.

The Nexza team did a full account audit, built new ad groups, and rewrote our ad copy to better match customer intent. They also set up conversion tracking and weekly performance reports. They ran both Google and Meta campaigns, testing different creatives and audiences to see what worked best.

Within two months, our campaigns started performing much better. Clicks became more consistent, and we noticed a solid boost in online sales. The cost per conversion dropped significantly, and their regular reports helped us see exactly where our money was going. It felt great finally seeing ROI from ads again.

The final deliverables included a detailed brand book, digital assets, and templates for marketing materials.

The new visual identity made our storytelling more consistent, and we’ve seen better traction in every campaign since.
