The Newton Agency is a founder-led studio for people opening cafes, restaurants, shops and mixed-use places, and for the brands that already have one. We do two things. We develop the concept and build the brand around it, and we keep the creative coming after launch through DESIGNFLOW, our subscription.
Concept development comes first. We define what the business actually is, what makes people come back, and what the building has to do, before anyone designs a logo or draws a plan. Out of that comes the strategy, the name, the identity system, the spatial requirements brief your architect gets hired with, and everything the place needs to open: menus, packaging, signage, uniforms, merch, website, launch creative.
Our style sits at the intersection of Americana and avant-garde. Nostalgic branding with modern execution. Every brand gets original artwork created for it and used nowhere else, which is what makes a place feel like it belongs to someone instead of like it was assembled from a template.
Leah leads creative direction, concept and design. Mathew leads strategy, digital and the systems we deliver on. The two people you meet are the two people on your project from the first conversation to the last file.
Our work has run in Vogue, shown at Design Miami, and sat on shelves at Sprouts and Pop Up Grocer. Clients include BMG, the George Harrison estate, Anthropologie, Vissla and Duvin Design Co.
Remote-first, based in Arizona, working nationwide. Boutique by design, not by limitation.

The Newton Agency is a founder-led studio run by Leah and Mathew Newton, based in Arizona. We came out of high-pressure Hollywood production and built a studio where classic Americana meets avant-garde. We do two things: concept development and branding for founders opening cafes, restaurants and shops, and ongoing creative on subscription.
