BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a multi-national technology company with billions in revenue. The global software division of the company required an infrastructure and execution strategy around our campaigns and pipeline development. I am part of the global marketing team responsible for the pipeline, lead and demand generation and the website strategy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire New North Consulting, and what were your goals?

Our goal was ultimately to drive sales knowing that we needed to take a step back and get a wider understanding of where we fit into the ecosystem - both company and industry. New North had the expertise and ability to understand our strategy, our tech stack and content needs to drive demand.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Vendor selection was done organically from industry lists, then interviews and references with use cases and results. The deciding factor was their no-nonsense attitude that indicated they'd always do what was best for the client vs just work to spec. Things evolve and change and New North has proven to ebb and flow with our requirements and best practices.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

First was the discover phase and group goals, then a strategic draft to outline what was needed short and long term. Next was a deep dive into our assets and tech stack providing a results-based plan which we review every two weeks to decide staying the course or correction.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have an account manager and a strategic director (both incredible) on a day-to-day basis. The rest of the team is brought into the fold as required by the strategic plan including social media, web development, content writers, marketing automation experts.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our custom dashboards have been created, automated marketing sequences developed, and content/assets being delivered per our monthly plan. Our open rates and conversion rates continue to rise. Our systems are secure and measurable.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

This team is fabulous. They are responsive, direct and no-nonsense while being fun to work with. We have meetings 2x per month unless more is required, and we review/schedule as necessary.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One stop shop for all of our digital marketing and strategic needs. There's nothing we've questioned or asked that they've been unable to tackle and come up with a solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I really can't think of any improvements needed as they're so adaptable to market, industry and company needs. They're very proactive.
