I’m the CEO of Shodai Network. We develop an agreements protocol for living agreements for the emerging agentic economy. We encode commitments that track when they’re done and execute what happens next.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with New Fiction?

We needed help taking our visual brand identity from zero to one and designing and building our marketing website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

New Fiction provided a quick-turnaround full visual brand identity and a multi-page marketing site that expressed our company's offering and personality. The team walked us through two mood boards, gathered feedback, and consolidated the mood board. After another round of feedback, New Fiction provided a skeleton of the website with ideas regarding motion, textures, and other design elements. The team gathered feedback and created an end-to-end website. After another round of feedback, New Fiction provided the final polish and transmission along with some Figma assets, including a logo, wordmark, and social banners.

How did you come to work with New Fiction?

Someone referred New Fiction to me. I chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, offered good value for the cost, and had company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April-May 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

New Fiction successfully launched the new site, which had a good social response and call-to-action (CTA) conversion ratios. Our internal team, which was incredibly picky when it came to brand and aesthetics, was extremely impressed. They were also impressed with the speed of delivery, given how tight the timelines were.

How did New Fiction perform from a project management standpoint?

New Fiction delivered on time and went above and beyond. Their project management was immaculate. The team worked collaboratively by passing Markdown files to one another and doing quick Figma reviews asynchronously, which made sure our synchronous meetings were incredibly valuable. Alignment happened iteratively and at pace with the project. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

New Fiction's generated art and artifacts, with the level of performance on page load times, gave an incredibly unique aesthetic to our website without performance loss.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were incredibly satisfied.
