Providing executive search services, including a marketing campaign aimed at introducing suitable candidates for the position of Head of Product & Pricing. Key deliverables: 

• long list of 50 candidates presented 2 weeks after contract signing
• short list of 4 candidates presented 2 weeks after the long list submission
• out of 4 short-listed candidates, we hired 2 for B-1 positions, and 1 was offered a B-2 position, which he declined

Very quick and high-quality placement. 3 out of 4 short-listed candidates received an offer, 2 hired to B-1 roles.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Neumann Executive helped us find a candidate for R&D, QC, and QA services. They managed these tasks based on our guidelines, and then Neumann Executive's team shortlisted the candidates and interviewed them. After that, they forwarded the candidates to us, and we assessed them to choose the best one.

I found them on LinkedIn, but I had worked with one of their partners before, so I contacted them directly. After agreeing on the project's details, we decided to go with them.

I’m the HR manager for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Poland.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I give Neumann position profiles, and then they provide me with candidates to fill our open positions. We do this until we find the perfect match. The last position we filled with Neumann’s help was a managerial one. 

What is the team composition?

I work directly with one person. My main point of contact is their managing director. 

How did you come to work with Neumann Executive?

I worked with their manager at a previous company. We also had a business relationship for recruitment services. After that, we stayed connected through the years. When she started working at Neumann, I got to know their company. That was how the engagement started. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started collaborating in April 2019. We’ve just finished a project, but our business contact is ongoing.

We don’t use any project management tools. Our teams communicate via emails and phone calls.

I'm the HR manager and director of a pharmaceutical company that produces and distributes neurological and psychiatric drugs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Neumann Executive?

We hired Neumann Executive for HR consulting services. We created a field force manager position whose role was to manage the whole field force, and one internal manager was interested in that role, so we wanted to retain the internal candidate. It was extremely important to evaluate candidates from external sources and internal candidates using the same criteria.

SOLUTION

What is the scope of their involvement?

Neumann Executive provided off-site HR services for us. They offered solutions to address the expectations of an internal candidate and how to build communication with potential external candidates. Consequently, they made a strategy for managing that with a step-by-step guide to ensure a win-win situation. They highlighted each candidate's strong and weak points and advised us as a neutral external consultant from an objective standpoint.

After that, they presented the report to our management board, which included the general manager, finance director, and sales and marketing director.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with Katarzyna (CEO), but Neumann Executive also had a team of five people involved. Still, everything was streamlined through her, so I didn't have to explain everything from scratch to a large group.

How did you come to work with Neumann Executive?

I met Katarzyna from a previous experience, and she approached me, offering her knowledge and expertise to work with that company. She was one of the agencies I called when we started this project.

What is the status of the engagement?

For this project, we worked together from November 2021–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Based on Neumann Executive's recommendations, we hired an external candidate, which is great; she passed her probation period and is one of the strongest managers in the company right now.

Regarding the internal candidate, he's still working with us and improving his performance, which was our ultimate goal.

Overall, we're happy with Neumann Executive's course of action, and our internal team is delighted with their services. They were a little pricy, but the quality of the work was great.

How did Neumann Executive perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was great; Neumann Executive's team was keen to adhere to our deadlines and were very responsive and readily available whenever we needed them. In terms of communication, we used email and in-person meetings because we were based in the same city.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their approach was great because they had a can-do attitude, which was important for us — instead of finding problems, they found solutions. Moreover, they were knowledgeable because the task I gave them wasn't an easy one, and it required experience and a deep understanding of HR to the bone to be able to come up with a plan.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn't have any complaints about their work, so we didn't think there was anything they could improve on.

Any advice for potential customers?

Ensure to answer all their questions because the better and more in-depth you are, the better the results they'll deliver.
