Neop was engaged to design and build our core digital platform end-to-end. The engagement covered the full software development lifecycle for two main products: the investor-facing mobile application (iOS and Android) and the web application, in addition to the admin dashboards used by our internal team. The scope included UX/UI design, backend development, API integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and feature updates after launch. Key Deliverables Investor mobile app (iOS & Android) — onboarding, KYC, investment browsing, subscription to sukuk programs, portfolio tracking, and push notifications Web application — investor portal with the same core features, built with full Arabic (RTL) support and a consistent brand design system Admin dashboard — program management, investor management, reporting, and compliance-related workflows Backend & API layer — secure infrastructure, integrations with third-party services, and performance optimization Design system and brand assets applied across all products Post-launch support, security hardening, and continuous feature releases

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since launching the platform, we've seen steady growth in registered investors and onboarded companies, with a significant number of sukuk programs successfully arranged and closed through the mobile app and web application. The platform has operated reliably with high uptime and no major incidents. The apps hold strong ratings on both the App Store and Google Play, and the digital experience has been recognized through international fintech awards. The platform has also been a key enabler in our regulatory journey with the Capital Market Authority, supporting our licensing progress.

Neop's project management was structured and transparent. Work was organized into clear phases and sprints, with regular progress updates and a dedicated project manager as our single point of contact. Milestones were delivered on time, and whenever scope changes came up — which is common in a regulated fintech environment — they handled them flexibly without affecting the overall timeline. They were highly responsive to our needs, quick to act on feedback, and proactive in flagging risks or suggesting better approaches before issues arose.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was their understanding of the Saudi fintech landscape. They didn't just build software — they understood the regulatory requirements, the Arabic-first user experience, and the expectations of local investors, and translated all of that into the product. Their team combined technical depth with genuine business awareness, and they treated the platform as if it were their own product rather than just a client project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something neop could have done differently?

Very little. At times, documentation and handover materials could have been more detailed for our internal team, and communication during peak periods was occasionally slower than usual. These were minor points, though, and never affected the quality or delivery of the work.
