Narrativ is a marketing and communications agency founded in Jakarta in 2014,
with offices in Jakarta and Singapore and clients across Southeast Asia.

We work across marketing, PR and search: campaigns and content, media relations
and thought leadership, video production, social media, performance media, and
SEO and AI search optimisation. Strategy comes first, and the strategy shapes
the work.

Our PR desk has run media relations, launches and thought-leadership programmes
in Indonesia for Oracle, Nutanix, Synology and Shell. Our production team has
made brand and commercial video for Daikin, XL Axiata, JD.ID, Jenius and BPK
PENABUR. In total we have worked with more than 100 brands across over 10
industries.

That combination matters more than it used to. Buyers increasingly start with a
question to ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews rather than a search box,
and those answers are assembled mostly from third-party sources: trade press,
industry directories, review platforms and public discussion. Roughly three
quarters of AI citations point somewhere other than a brand's own website.
Earned coverage is therefore the most direct lever on AI visibility, and we run
the media desk that earns it alongside the technical SEO that supports it.
