Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a principal and the director of client services for an ad agency in Dallas, Texas.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nametag Films?

We’ve produced several commercials with them over the years.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We utilize their directing, production, and photography services. Generally, we meet with them about the purpose of a commercial and provide them with a script. From there, they’ll shoot and edit the entire piece for us as well as handle photography, casting, and retouching. We air their commercials both on TV and online. 

What is the team composition?

I interact with Joe (Executive Producer) about once each week. During our most recent shoot, there were four people on set, but their staff is typically much larger during production. I’ve also worked closely with Jonah (Director-Editor) and Chris (Director-Partner). 

How did you come to work with Nametag Films?

They’re a local company, and someone at my company had worked with them previously and recommended them.  

How much have you invested with them?

Over the years of our relationship, we’ve spent between $500,000–$1,000,000 on their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since October 2013.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’d recommend them to anybody because of their high-quality work. They always give us exactly what we’re looking for at a higher caliber every time.  

How did Nametag Films perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication is excellent. They’re always keeping us informed on progress and never miss deadlines. We’re typically ahead of schedule. Generally, we communicate over Zoom, email, and texting. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re able to truly collaborate with them. Any idea presented during production is openly considered. There’s always very friendly energy on set, and they provide the highest quality of production value possible. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. They’ve never had trouble keeping up with our budget or timelines.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open and honest with them about your goals, timeline, and budget. They’ll make everything happen for you from there. It’s best to be upfront with them about potential challenges.
