BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Founder of MotionAI. We are building a device that monitors falls and other emergency situations for elderly and people with disability.

For what projects/services did your company hire NALT Analytics?

We hired NALT Analytics to develop the MVP machine learning modal for our project to detect fall, sleep, no movement, walking and deploy it on a feasible off the shelf hardware.

What were your goals for this project?

Build a feasible modal that can be used for detection and deploy it on hardware that can independently run.

How did you select this vendor?

While I was looking for a developer Suresh contacted me with his interest in the project and I had interviewed atleast 8 other companies for this project at the time. Since the project was complicated no other company came across as they knew what the plan of action should be.

However Suresh and his team came back with a plan of action that perfectly aligned with my vision for the product. Their approach to development was not "This is going to be hard", it was "This is interesting"

Machine learning modal built in Python. Deployed on Jetson Nano.

What was the team composition?

We mostly consulted with Suresh. He has a team that works on the modal but Suresh is the person I talked to.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We will know the impact ones the test is complete and we have demonstrated the product to several people. We are creating a minimum viable product so it should be functioning. If we find any issues Suresh has given us a lot of assurances that he’d still help. In any case this is just the starting of our work together. I will continue to work with him until our product is on the market.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had daily standup where we have each other daily updates. It worked pretty well. Suresh attended regularly. The project plan was mapped out pretty well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are very hardworking and they do not get scared by a challenge. Suresh woke up everyday at 7 AM to attend our meetings. I am personally very impressed by their morals and work ethics. I would ask her to keep up.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Give them more projects or funding, so they can grow the business.
